    Hello,

I try to change the splashsreen with your add-on Apple touch icons & Splash Screen.

The setting of your plugin show me than the image is changed.

But when i launch my pwa on my iphone, i still have the older one.

    I try to :

    • Remove the app from my screen, add it again
    • empty cache from server
    • Add to homescreen the app from private browsing

    Still have the older image.

    Thanks for your help !

    Hi,

We have checked your URL. You can refer to the screenshot for confirmation. It is likely a cache issue on your end, which is why this is occurring. Please check once on other devices as well.

Yes you are right, it is a cache issue.

But a cache issue on iOS Safari : I clear all my cache from my host provider and all cache on my device. Still not work.

So that means that i cannot update my splashsreen for people who already install my PWA.

So it seems a bug ??

Try on one of your pwa to download it on your phone, then change the spashcreen image : you still have the previous one, not the new one

    Hi,

It doesn’t seem to be a Bug. There is an option in the Advanced settings called “Re-Install Service Worker.” Whenever you update anything, make sure to update that as well.

For example, if updating from 2.2.34 to 2.2.34.1, also update the service worker. Additionally, set the caching strategy to “Network first, then cache.”

Before testing, make sure to clear all types of cache. Give it a try once.

    Thank you.

I don’t know that i can change the version of the worker to reinstall them on client side.

    I don’t use cache strategy.

Thanks a lot for your support !
