We have ApplePay and GPay enabled in my Woocommerce Settings on Cart and Checkout pages.

I have 2 problems that I expect are related to each other. If they need separate topics, let me know:

#1. Shipping options are not displaying all options when a Customer pays via ApplePay

    Step to Reproduce

    Expected Results

    • All Shipping Methods displayed for selection

    Actual Results

    • Not all shipping options are displayed.

#2. Shipping is not included in the Total displayed to the customer.

    Step to Reproduce

    Step to Reproduce

    Expected Results

    • Total displayed included shipping amount.

    Actual Results

    • Total does not include Shipping Amount
    • This gives the customer a bad experience as they are expecting to pay what the total is displayed to them. Are later charged more when they see the invoice emailed to them.

    Other Notes:

We are using a 3rd Party Shipping Plugin called ClickShip (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/clickship/)

    Hello IAmTheAllspark,

Thank you for reaching out to WooCommerce support.

I understand you’re encountering some issues with Apple Pay and Google Pay on your WooCommerce site, specifically related to the shipping options not being displayed correctly and the shipping costs not being included in the total displayed to the customer when using these payment methods.

To assist you effectively and work toward a resolution, I’d like to understand more about your setup. A copy of your site’s System Status would be incredibly useful in diagnosing the issue more accurately.

Here’s how you can provide that information:
    1. Go to the WooCommerce section in your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Navigate to Status.
    3. Click on the ‘Get system report’ button.
    4. Then click on ‘Copy for support’.

After copying the system report, please create a new Gist at?https://gist.github.com?and paste the copied text there. Once the Gist is saved, share the URL of the Gist here in your reply.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, and it will be immensely helpful in troubleshooting the problems you’re experiencing with your shipping options and total calculations during checkout with Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Hey, @iamtheallspark!

    Thanks for sharing the report.

You mentioned you are using a third-party plugin to handle the shipping, correct?

Could you please deactivate this plugin and see if you are able to replicate both errors while using Woocommerce’s default shipping?

Please try this and let us know what happened so we can assist you further.

    Thank you!

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I am using the ClickShip?shipping plugin (link in original report).

I tried deactivating ClickShip and using the default Woocommerce Shipping and Tax plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-services/ – if this isn’t the one you wanted me to use, please provide a link to the specific plugin). Despite having shipping zones setup, packages defined and a payment method added to my account, this plugin couldn’t validate my address. I spent some time troubleshooting it, but I can’t spend anymore time on troubleshooting something I am not going to use.

If you think this is specific to ClickShip based on another similar and previous problems like this, let me know (I’ve searched but didn’t find anything). At this point I am just going to disable the use of Apple Pay and G Pay.

    Hi there @iamtheallspark ??

Thank you for reaching back, with further details on this.

I tried deactivating ClickShip and using the default Woocommerce Shipping and Tax plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-services/ – if this isn’t the one you wanted me to use, please provide a link to the specific plugin).

Please try with the core shipping options that come out-of-the-box with WooCommerce, while having ClickShip deactivated, and see if the issue persists, or otherwise.

Should the issue persist no more, feel free to reach out to the support channel of ClickShip (linked here), as they would be in a better position to assist you.

I hope that helps! Let us know how it goes.

    Hello again,

I was able to do some additional testing on our staging site using the core shipping methods for Woocommerce (ClickShip deactivated).

I setup 2 Flat Rate Shipping options ($20.00 and $30.00) to test and was able to replicate. Here is a screenshot
