    I’m trying to add in some extra fields to a job listing, some text, some drop downs maybe a check box one. However i’m having two problems:

    1. When I try to make a drop down with a few options (say 8) it wont save and it converts back to a text field. The same thing happens with check boxes when i try to add more than a simple Yes No, if I add in a third option it converts back to a text field.

    2. Even if I make everything a text field, the form wont show every field, currently I have a job with 5 field to fill out, but only 2 of them show up on the actual page. The order I have them in doesn’t make a difference, it only shows the same 2 regardless of if they are first, last or anything else.

    Is there any way to correct this?

    1,2- It might be due to some other plugins or functions in your website code. Did you modify plugin?

    So far plugin release is stable and we didn’t experience such kind of issue in SJB plugin. Also take a look at the last two fields of the application form, and check the drop down & checkbox functionality. Both fields have more than eight options and working fine.

    2- Are you creating fields in settings? If “yes” then setting form fields only populate to job detail page when you are creating a new job. Please first add fields in setting & then create new jobs.

    I’ve done as you suggested and created these fields in the main settings, which has worked.

    However, when I try to add any detail through the individual job itself, say adding a feature such as salary, it seems to break the job listing and once again only show 2 out of the 5 fields and changes their settings. This also happened when i tried adding a company logo or any other details to the job. I haven’t modified anything in the plugin, I did select the option to show job listing without company logo, however it seems it is still showing the company logo even when no image has been uploaded.

    So I’ve done some testing, and updated to word press version 4.6.1. With the update the company logo setting is working, it’s removed the logos.

    However I have noticed that the problem with the application fields occurs whenever I hit the update button after first publish. I don’t even need to make any changes, if I publish a job listing it all shows up fine, but once i hit update it stops showing half the fields and changes their settings to text fields.

    @jcalley,

    It seems like that you have made few modifications in the plugin or your website plugins are conflicting with SJB. If you have made modifications then please revert changes. Also, deactivate your website plugins except SJB and then update job data.

    Let us know if the problem is due to SJB plugin.
