At the very top of my page I see this:
    application/x-httpd-php header.php HTML document text

I actually had that line in the header.php of the child theme I use, but since I removed it I’m still keeping it. It’s not in the header.php of my mother theme.

What causes it? I have no idea. If you need any info, I’m happy to share.

Ok, apparently my network kept loading a cached version (it happened in multiple browsers and two computers), so I finally pressed “New theme activated. Visit site” at the top of the wordpress admin page after switching a theme and it finally loaded the actual new version, without any annoying stuff ??

    So, solved.
