Apply parent restrictions to child-pages

Is there any way of applying restrictions of parent to child pages other than manually matching them. It would be awesome if I could just set restriction to page and eveything else under it would be restricted too, but now I have to set restrictions to all pages manually for them to not show up in search queries or direct links.
