Apply Permalinks only to certain pages

  • Hi,

    Can you apply permalinks to only a few pages but not all?

    For example:

    ******* WARNING ADULT CONTENT ********

    On https://www.SexyNudeMuscle.com I have image links on the right side in my theme that link to pages with page ID’s. I wish to use a SEO friendly name for these. Like the sug name or something.

    Any assistance would be greatly appreaciated.

    I don’t think you can selectively apply permalinks. Why would you want to leave ugly links up?

    Just looking to change some pages to SEO friendly ones. Still trying to figure out how permalinks work. I’ve tried to use pretty URL’s but it still displays the page ID’s on most of the pages.

    /%category%/%postname%/ will change my nav pages “About” and “Partners” but that’s about it.

    The “ugly” default permalinks will still continue to work even if you are using pretty permalinks, so people visiting older pages from search engines and other sites may still be hitting them, but these ugly permalinks shouldn’t be showing up as links on your own site.
