    Hi all!!

Do you know it there any way where an admin could apply coupons that are restricted to an specific email.

Let me explain, I have a loyalty options where I assign coupons based on money spent, this coupons are restricted using customer email.

But I have also a physical shop, so sometime I have the customer on the shop and there is no way I can apply user coupons.

I would like to create an order using WooCommerce section, add the customers on the customer field and then be able tu use the button Apply Coupon and use the code that its restricted for that user.

    It has sense?

    Thanks!

    Hi @n0th,

    Thank you for reaching out.

it is indeed possible for an admin to apply coupons that are restricted to a specific email address. To achieve this, you would need to create the order manually in the WooCommerce section and add the customer details in the customer field.

    Here’s a quick step-by-step guide:

    1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Orders.
    2. Click on ‘Add Order’.
    3. In the ‘Customer’ field, search and select the customer to whom the coupon is assigned.
    4. Add the items they wish to purchase to the order.
    5. Ensure that the email address used in the ‘Customer’ field matches one of the ‘Allowed Emails’ on the coupon under the usage restrictions. This will allow the system to recognize the coupon’s validity for that specific customer. [Under the ‘Usage Restrictions’ tab, there is a field labeled ‘Allowed Emails’. Here, you can enter the email of the customer you’re adding a manual order for.]
    6. In the ‘Coupon’ field, enter the coupon code that’s assigned to the customer.
    7. Click on ‘Apply Coupon’.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Hi @n0th

To ensure we are on the same page, did you add the customer’s mail ID in the “Allowed emails” field before applying the coupon?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Hey @n0th ,

Testing this on my end, the restricted coupon is applying successfully when manually creating an order:

Your coupon configuration looks good, however I’m unable to see if the coupons been published yet (which could explain the issue). Can you please double check that the coupon has been published before applying the coupon code to the manually created order:

If that’s already been done, and it’s still not working as expected, can you please share a copy of your sites System Status Report so that we can take a closer look at your sites current environment?

You can find this via WooCommerce?→?Status. Select?Get system report?and then?Copy for support.

    Cheers!
