• Hi!

I would like to have my whole cart shipping-free, if a certain product is in it.
I could do it with coupon codes, but I don’t like to have coupons on my site.

When I choose the Shipping Class “Free Shipping”, it works for the specific product, but not for the whole cart. I there any way to change it?

  • Hi, @dunnofashion. You might want to try out the WooCommerce Advanced Free Shipping plugin to see if it will allow you to do what you want (based on the third screenshot that I see here, it seems like it probably does).

Unfortunately it does not, at least not as far as I see. I tried it. Thank you anyways!

Any other Ideas? Probably needs coding but who knows, there might be a plugin.

My Idea: Currently Woocommerce takes the most expensive shipping class assigned to a product (at least thats what I think). So if you change that, when a single product has the “Free Shipping” class, the whole cart should be free to ship?

Suggest that you ask your question in the WooCommerce shipping plugin support forum.
Have you tried reading the code as to how shipping rates get combined ? There may be a function you can hook ?
