Apply The Slider To Product Main Image

Hi,

is it possible to use the slider to make the main product image into a slider, so clicking on the thumbnails below slides the image into the main view without opening another tab?

If not there is another way of doing this? I have looked at several plugins but they all slide products on a main page, rather than slide images on a single product page.
