So, I know that in order to schedule an ad to display only for a specific period using Extended Restrictions, the ad must be displayed using a “Places” object. I’m already doing this on one part of my website and it works fine.

What I don’t understand, and would like to accomplish, is being able to use the single ad shorcodes like:

    [sam_pro id="1_2" codes="true"]
    [sam_pro id="1_3" codes="true"]
    [sam_pro id="1_4" codes="true"]
    [sam_pro id="1_5" codes="true"]

and have the scheduling period applied to the individual ads.

    The reason for this:
I have a page where I display ALL of my current ads using the individual single ad shortcodes. As it works now, when one of those ads is past it’s display period, it still shows.

    Is there something I’m missing?
Is there a way to make ads “expire” if not displayed using the “Places” object?

    Follow-up question:

How can I display on one page, every ad that is currently “not expired”?

I know I need to create a Place and Block to display the ads. But, the Block setup requires a fixed number of ads to display, due to having to define a specific grid layout. For example: a 4×4 grid will display only a maximum of 16 ads. So, if there are 20 current ads that are not expired, only 16 of those will be displayed on the current page.

    Any ideas?
