    I am using an appointment widget from MindBody. With this widget, the user selects a day or or any day of the week they are interested in and then “searches” for open appointment times. When the widget returns the times, each time has a border around it and in this case the borders are too large which results in the borders overlapping the other times and making it almost unreadable.

    How can I change the size of the borders or possibly even eliminate them as I think they little value especially on a small screen like a cell phone.
    Here is the link: https://1ab.52b.myftpupload.com/book-an-appointment/

    Thank you

    Hello chuckbalogh,

    Add below code into active child theme’s style.css file.

    Note : Don’t modify your theme. Use child theme for any modification.

    .healcode-trainer .appointment.button {
    border:none;
    padding: 0;
    }

    Hope this will helps you.

    Thanks!

    I am thinking of changing Themes to Astrid. Do you know if this “child” theme solution would work with that Theme?

    Hi chuckbalogh,

    You can add CSS to your site via Dashboard > Customize > Additional CSS without creating a child theme.

    Lots of themes can be used to create child themes, unless that theme is itself a child theme.

    For help with Astrid, feel free to make a new post here:

    Thank you David C. Do you know why AddWebSolution said that I had to make a child theme? I just want to know the WHY so I can build my own knowledge base. Thanks

    I’m not really able to speak for them, but you can build a child theme if you like.

    Generally though, those are for larger changes which require adjustments to the PHP, HTML, or JavaScript code. People do this so that they can still use some of the design/functionality of the parent theme without losing their customizations when the parent theme is updated by its developers.

    When you use the built in CSS tool, that code isn’t overwritten when the theme is updated. So you aren’t required to create a child theme just for CSS.

    If you decide to build a child theme in the future, you can move any CSS from the Additional CSS section into your child theme’s files.
