• Hello and congratulations for the amazing plugin.

I want to ask if there is a way when a person enters in a time slot to register an appointment that time slot to become locked for another person in order not to collide and one of them loses the appointment.

I get many emails from people who tried to book an appointment and someone else got the appointment because he types faster…

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello @geotsot

At the moment we don’t have any way to change how our booking process works in the free version. When two people are trying to book the same time slot, the person who submits first will claim the time slot.

The only time this is different is when SSA is embedded in a Gravity or Formidable Form or when a PayPal payment is involved.

In these scenarios, when a user selects a time slot, it goes into a pending state where no one else can select that same slot.

The pending state gives the user 30 minutes to complete their booking. If they don’t do so in that time frame, they’re booted back to the time selection screen and the time slot is released so that anyone else can book it.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Thank you for the quick answer!

I was hoping it could be triggered in free version with a flag or something else. The ability to set the time slot in pending state would help the client to complete the reservation without running for the fastest typing…

    Thank you for your time.
