Approve comments in some pages

  • You can select which pages accept comments and which don’t.

    On a page, simply click on “screen options” at the top right of your screen and check “discussion”. Once that is done you will be able to activate or deactivate comments for specific pages, in a metabox at the bottom of the page.

    That’s not what I am looking to do. I want to have a page with comments that are published immediately and another page that also accepts comments but that have to be approved before being published.

    Ex:

    Page A: Comments published immediately when submitted by the user
    Page B: Comments pre-approved before appearing publicly

    ==> Can we control whether comments are approved or not per page?

    Unfortunately this is not possible out of the box, you might have to look into some plugins.
