Approve User Settings – Send email on approval

I can’t seem to turn on the option to “Send email on approval” – When i tick the box and click save I get an error page (404 not found). Even without making any changes to the setting and clicking on the save button i still get the error.

The site is a multisite/network so not sure if this is the issue?

I tried deactivating the plugin on the network level and emabling it on a site level but I don’t get the “Approve users” in the settings menu at all.

I managed to set the email approval to true in the plugin file “wp-approve-user.php” whcih is not ideal but at least it works for now however the approval email i received was not with the message from your plugin but rather a default WP User login details email:

“Login details
To set your password visit the following addres…”
