Approved comments do not display

  • Long ago, comments made below posts displayed.

    Now they do not.

    Comments are enabled everywhere. (Check boxes at various dashboard locations).

    Comments are automatically approved.

    However, comments made never appear below the post.

    Instead the line, “One thought on…” appears. I deleted that from the comment.php file.

    Still, no comments.

    I switched to the Twenty Eleven theme, and suddenly the approved comments appeared.

    I copied the comment.php code, switched back to Gridsby, and pasted the code from Twenty Eleven into Gridsby’s comment.php file.

    Still, approved comments do not display in Gridsby.

    Can you help me?
