[April 29, 2015]: Facebook Errors (#283) and (#200)

Issue has been resolved by Facebook. We can confirm that it’s working.

Right now we are back to the original solution.

If you still have the problem, it means you are using outdated version of the plugin. Please update plugin to the latest version and re-authorize Facebook.

Anyone facing the “Leaving Facebook” filter prior to this issue?
I′m having it on all my pages…i know its not related to the plugin, just to know your opinion.

It’s working now. Facebook fixed the API i think.

I just found out that I have the 283 problem. Mine is not working.

I have the current Plugin Version: 3.4.16 [Single Accounts Edition]

My Facebook API version shows 2.2 and it does not appear that I can change that.

I reset my App Secret and recopied my App ID

I still get the error when I click Submit Test To FaceBook.

When I try to resubmit a post to Facebook from within the admin side of the post, it says that the error is that “the password has changed.”

I deleted the account and rebuilt a new one and get the same errors.

Any help is appreciated from those of you that got it working.

Please try to create anew app.

I created a new app which is 2.3. It would not allow me to create it from my business page login, so I ha to create it from a personal account. Created a new Facebook login on your app, loaded the information and it will not authorize. I get a page that show the script which used to automatically disappear. Checked for errors and cannot find anything.

New app is live and everything else is the same as the old settings, but now 2.3.

User who is authorizing the app MUST be an admin for both page and app.

About a year ago I created my app for SNAP but now if I try to create an new app with the same account but while creating apps it gives me below message.

Not Authorized To Manage Apps: This account is not authorized to manage apps. Please use your verified personal Facebook account to create and manage your apps.

I think I’ve converted personal account to page… I do not remember

When I login to https://developers.facebook.com i see my app but This account is not authorized to manage apps

Clicking profile https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1234567891011 is redireced to https://www.facebook.com/browse/admined_pages/?id=1234567891011

I would like to understand what could have happened and above all how can I create a new app to run SNAP
