Archive list in the menu

I use this template for a personal photography blog and would like to have my archive list show as a menu drop-down, not a sidebar widget. Is there a way to do that?

Also, When I go to the archive page (eg month year) the preview exerpts are all in capital letters and formatted incorrectly (different form the actual post) – how to I change the way the posts (fonts) are displayed on the archive page?
