Archive not working

  • I’m using the theme from wucocco-two-column-0100 which displays a calendar which highlights days when I have made entries. However, when I click on eitehr date in the calaendar, ratehr then getting the entry for the day dsiplayed, all I get is a text entry saying “/blog/archives/date/2006/07/25/” for my 25 July entry and “/blog/archives/date/2006/07/27/” for my 27 July entry (see https://walksandwheels.co.uk/blog for my site. Changing the theme makes no difference.

    Any ideas please?

  • None of your permalinks work – not just Archives.

    Options -> Permalinks What do you have selected? Do you still have this problem if you switch back to default?

    You might check some of the troubleshooting tips on the Permalinks page.

    Duh!! I did not have the default selected in Permalinks and it was looking for a non-existant .htaccess file. I have now created the file and all works as it should do.
