    Hey again!

Sorry for the cascade of posts beforehand.

I just created the archive page in Elementor and when I create the Portuguese version it doesn’t translate the category type like “Month: Mar?o 2019” instead of “Mês: Mar?o 2019”. The 2nd part it’s in Portuguese but the 1st one not. Already tried to remove the option in the conditions from the Portuguese version that say where it is showing in the website “all archives” like I saw somewhere and it still only shows the English version.

The 2nd topic is the Search results when I click on the little search icon are always appearing in English. Shouldn’t it also show only the pages created on the specific language? What can I do?
    Thanks guys!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @theportraveler

Have you created an English version of the archive? I cannot seem to find it?

I just tested your search feature on your website, for example, on the English version I search Cambodia, only English result display. on the Portuguese version no results display. This would be correct as Cambodia is an English word. Where Camboja would be the correct search term for the Portuguese version, which returns only PT results and not EN results.

So to me, the search is working 100%

Make sure that chrome’s auto translate is disabled for your site (if you have not already done so) as this has confused me in the past.

Google translate is not working on my website, i checked already. I already set the language of both pages correctly and it makes still the same mistake as before having the Polylang Connect Elementor. It says, on the “Display Conditions” that some other Archive is already being set as “All Archives”. I believe if you go now to try the page you will only get the English version even though both are selected as All Archives..tried putting just one to All Archives but then it doesn’t work also. It gives the page you saw earlier i believe (the default from theme no elementor pro archive page).

So what i’m saying is if i just open the normal archive page, without the new archive elementor pro pages, it works correctly, but with no style. If i put the new Archive pages it gives this language selection conflict

In terms of the workflow, the display conditions are meant to be set for the primary language ONLY (the exception seems to be with Elementor Pro PopUp’s – where another work around exists). Edit the translated template and remove the display conditions.

If push comes to shove, you might need to provide a temporary login to your website to see if I can assist.

It just doesn’t work. It’s just the English version with display conditions on for all archives and nothing. Only the English version appears on both the languages. In the Portuguese one now i don’t know why, the title only appears for the Date Archive and not for the Category Archive.

How do i grant you temporary login?

Hey guys is there any news related with the topic?

I’m still trying to solve it and it doesn’t work, could you understand what the exact problem was or if possible make a small update on the archive’s page and see if it solves anything?

    Thank you so much!

@theportraveler , sorry for the late response. I have been very busy. I also realise I have over stepped for the support of this plugin. This plugin allows for the translated Elementor templates to show correctly on the front end.

While I have taken note of this, I am also going to be testing this issue with my own site.

In theory, PolyLang is compatible with Elementor so I am not sure why this is happening. I think you should contact both Elementor and PolyLang directly to see if they can assist.

You have my private email and we can discuss things there further if you wish.
