    Wrong plugin? This is not quizmaster?

    In any case, this is most likely a conflict/problem with your theme or other plugin?

    Does it work in the first place with the default theme and no other plugins activated?

    Yes, you are right, shortcode is from another plugin, but anyway poll is not displaying on archive pages. Is that default behavior of your plugin?

    Nope, it might be your theme widgets/different widgets for different pages.

    The widget has no checks to see whether it will display or not. As long as there is a widget on that page, it will display.
