Archive p/month template?

  • Hello people,

    I’ve got a question and i think it has something to do with my Permalinks structure or templates.

    I’ve made an Archive listed by year -> month and post_count.

    Like this.
    2011
    – month (5)
    – month (3)
    – month (12)
    – month (7)

    But when i click on a month to view the posts posted in this month , my website jumps straight back to my basic archive.php template and i get the same Archive layout with all the listed months again..

    It goes from(1) this to(2) this url.
    (1) example.com/archive/
    (2) example.com/2011/08/

    But it loads the archive.php, should i make an archive-month.php template with a loop inside it to show the the posts?

    I use a Permalinks structure like this.
    example.com/2011/08/post_name
