Archive posts by month?

Fantastic plugin, thanks for creating…
Tag, and categories work great, using select boxes or tag clouds, but for some reason the standard wordpress “archives” widget, such as by month/year doesn’t seem to generate the corresponding date folders?
I’ve also tried adding a date such as “2018/05/” it to the “Include additional URLs” to see if it parses, and does but gives a 404 instead of the page it should be.
Something silly I’m missing?
