Archive question

  • Hey there,

    I’m making a blog website for someone,
    but I’m stuck on a problem with the archive.

    What I need:
    -The homepage shows all new posts
    -The ‘library’page shows all posts in category ‘library’
    -The ‘cleaning’page show all posts in category ‘cleaning’
    -The ‘beauty’page show all posts in category ‘beauty’
    -The ‘travel’page show all posts in category ‘travel’.

    Every unique page needs to have it’s proper archive page.
    I’ve tried a few things, but it doesn’t seem to quite work out.

    Is this possible? What plugin would you recommend for this?

  • What you have described above is that way in which WordPress works out if the box. All Posts are automatically available on the respective category pages and the latest posts are always shown on the front (main posts) page.

    If you properly follow the wordpress theme structure in your theme and make library,cleaning,beauty,travel as your categories and assign them to posts then it will automatically work as you want
