    Hello!

    I wonder how to translate Category in archive titles?

    I can disable archive title Category in Remove term type prefixes from generated archive titles but how to translate prefix Category? Namely Category is always in English. Thanks.

  • Hello Robert, sorry for a delayed reply, my colleague is moving, and it is slowing our support a bit.

    Depends on the theme and the WordPress settings.

    1. You should set the correct site language in …/wp-admin/options-general.php
    2. If your theme has a language file, you should look if it has any mentions of a category inside it. Usually located in .../wp-content/themes/themename/languages/something.pot this is less usual.

    I run multiple non-english blogs and this is what I did every time to completely replace English strings.
