Archive with post thumbnails (or featured images)

    I have a reading blog. I use Annual Archive (free version) to display a listing of all the posts titles. I’d like to have a second type of archive – one that shows only the posts thumbnails or the posts’ featured images (which, in fact, are the covers of the books I talk about). Can Annual Archive (paid or free) or any other suggested plugin do this? Thank you very much.

    Would this be a post-by-post list?
    What happens when the image is clicked on?
    From the sounds of it, you just need a ‘latest posts’ list that shows images, correct?

    Thanks for responding. The new archive would ideally would look like a ibooks shelf or like a windows explorer folder that shows icons. If you click on them it’s going to take you to the post. I want this to include not just my latest posts but all of them. Thanks again.

    This is not something that the plugin does.

    However, if you have a developer, something could be easily created.
    If you do not have a developer and would like us to find or create a custom solution for you, we would be happy to assist as part of the high-level support offered with Archive-Pro-Matic.

    A bit more info would also be helpful.
    Can you share a link to your page? Are your books a custom post type, or just a normal blog post with a specific category? Have you look at plugins that deal with books such as Book Showcase or Library Bookshelves?

    Thank you so much for responding. yes, I’ve seen the plugs you mention but they’re not what I’m looking for. I just want an archive with the post feature images. The feature images are book covers. So it’s a visual archive with images (that if clicked will take you to the post) rather than a text-based archive that include a list of postings.
