Have you check if it worked with other themes, say Twenty Fifteen?

I noticed that the monthly archive links redirect to the home page.

For instance https://www.naas.org/scholarships/2016/02 gets redirected to https://www.naas.org/scholarships/

Even https://www.naas.org/2016/02/ gives an error.

What is your permalink structure? Updating that might help.

The most recent permalink structure is set at https://www.naas.org/scholarships/2016/04/sample-post/

However, some of the much older Posts may have relied upon a different permalink setting.

The link you said was in error should have linked to:

There is no active permalink structure for https://www.naas.org/2016/02/; however, I think it should have at least displayed the monthly archives for 2016/02

DELETE ORIGINAL THEME (SMALL BIZ)
I am thinking that perhaps the original theme that correctly display the archives and then did not display the archives should be deleted and re-uploaded, and that may work.

DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE SUGGESTIONS?

I fixed the problem. It was a plug-in! I de-activated the plug-in. All is good!
