Archives on all product categories in the SERP

  • I do not recommend this plugin. It may be good for archivists, but definitely not for e-commerce. It adds the word archives to all product categories. I changed it manually, but nothing changes in the SERP.

    Thanks for your review.

    We understand that you don’t want the SEO title of your product category archives to include the word ‘Archives’. This is easy to change in Yoast SEO. You’ll just need to edit the SEO title template of your product categories under SEO > Search Appearance > Taxonomies. See screenshot for reference. You can learn more about title templates in this help article.

    Once you’ve changed your title template, it may take some time for the new titles to appear in the search results. This usually depends on the size of your website and how often Google crawls it. You can speed up this process using the URL Inspection tool in Google Search Console. Hope it helps!
