I cannot seem to get the Archive page to work. I can open it from Firefox but cannot open it using IE 6. When it opens, it says “Do not modify this page.”

The check box is checked for “Enable the Cutline Archives page“. I am using Cutline 3-Column Split. It said the page would automatically added, but it is not working as intended. Is there something I can change or should I create a static Archive page that I update monthly?

My page is blog.stopccdebt.com and the link is Archives on the top navigation.

  • The “Archives Page” is just not there!

    You have to create one.

May be this codex page will help:-

Thanks for the link. I can see now that all I had to do was write a new page titled “ARCHIVES” and leave the body of the page completely blank. There is a drop down on the right for page templates, and I could select archives. It works perfectly.

Incidentally, I was able to repeat the process for the Sitemap which resolved the other dead link on the site.

    Thanks.
