[archives] shortcode

I’m trying to put the archive page on any regular page. The reason I’m doing this is because I have some text that I’d like to have on the top of the Archive page.

seems you are referring to a WordPress.com feature: https://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/you will need to install the Jetpack plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/jetpack/ and activate the ‘shortcode-embeds’ under ‘writing’ to make use of the
[archives]shortcode in your www.ads-software.com site.
