Archiving a page

    I have several pages on my site and some are now expired. Skate 2 Stick and I want to archive them but not loose them. The pages are located across the top of the theme such as NHL Playoff Bracket. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks TonyH

  • Pages can’t be archived. They’re static pages (which means they stay as they are until you change or delete them.)

    You can keep them as they are, and set the post status as “draft”, then the “outdated” ones will still be there, just not visible. You’ll have a list of “Drafts” at the top of your “write page” area, and after a while they could become a pretty lengthy list.

    And alternative idea would just be to create categories with the current Page name in there, and set them to display 1 post in each of those categories at a time. Then they’ll archive automatically, every time you make a new post to replace them.

    Thanks, being a noob I will work on it and see what I can come up with.
