Archiving Posts

  • Hi everyone,

    I’m wondering if it’s possible to move posts on a homepage to a seperate area of the site for storage of archives posts? I want these posts to remain published on my site but I don’t want them on my homepage any longer. Any ideas?

  • I am not sure I understand your question. WP is “archiving” every post in the moment of publishing.

    You have the option in your admin panel to set how many posts are shown on your home/front/main page. If you set it to 5 posts, WP will show the latest five post and the rest is going away from your homepage.

    Or what else do you want to do?
