Are Alt Tags Replace

    Hi,

    I have about 3,000 photos uploaded in galleries (NextGen Gallery). I put alt tag info for all the photos. But, when I look at the media library I see that hundreds and hundreds of images in the regular medial library don’t have alt tags, but hundreds do have alt tags.

    1) Will this plugin change NexGen photo settings (I don’t want it to)?
    2) Will this plugin replace alt tags if an image already has a tag (I don’t want it to)?

    Sorry for the late response, but here I am ??

    1) Will this plugin change NexGen photo settings (I don’t want it to)?

    Auto Image Attributes does not change settings in NextGen Gallery. It will update the attributes in the media library if you use the bulk updater and if NextGen pulls the date from the media library.

    2) Will this plugin replace alt tags if an image already has a tag (I don’t want it to)?

    The bulk updater will update everything in the media library even the ones with the alt tag.

    The pro version has a feature to exclude the alt tags in within the posts, but media library is always updated. I will add a way to exclude images with existing alt tags in the future.

    @arunbasillal like the original poster I don’t want the plugin to replace any existing alt tags.

    Did you add a way to exclude images with existing alt tags yet?
