When shipping a product international, does UPS include any duty fees that are required by customs in the shipping cost?

    Hi @dave8441,

thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, duty fees are not calculated by our plugin. The duty won’t be added to live shipping rates.

    Best regards,
    Ola

    Hi @kozyraola,

I also reached out to UPS, and their response seems to indicate that duty fees may have been added by them. They would like to investigate further, and they asked me to send them “the Shipping API request and response details to understand the actual shipment parameters entered… in either RAW or TEXT format… please provide the header and body of the API request. For security purposes, leave the security elements in place but redact the authorization credentials.”

I’m not sure what files they are requesting or how to access them. Can you please provide some direction?

    Hi @dave8441,

Request and response are triggered at checkout, once debug mode for UPS Live Rates plugin is enabled.

For detailed instructions, please refer to the documentation: Debug Mode.

    Best regards,
    Ola
