Are downloads linked to ip address?

    I’m new to selling online and so I was happy to discover Easy Digital Downloads. Thanks for this plugin!

    I was testing it to see if I had set it up well. The 1st time I was able to make a successful purchase, there was no download link. I was able to correct that following your reply to one of the posts here.

    The 2nd time I was able to make a successful purchase, I was redirected as expected to the Purchase History page with the download link. However, when I clicked on the link, a page appeared with a message saying that I have exceeded my download limit.

    Does this mean that the downloads are linked to the ip address? Is there an alternative to this? I ask because there might be different customers who will have the same ip address.
