Are excerpts mandatory?

Can you please let me know where you would want your full posts to be displayed?

I’ve got different part on one website, some are reviews, another articles. I’ve never used excerpts except on the articles part. When a review is too long, I just use the ‘more’ tag, that’s what it’s for. In most cases, I prefer not to have to think how long they become and if they’re going to ‘fit’ on the homepage with just all reviews in reversed chronological order, so people don’t have to open every post to read it.

So basically, I only excerpt automatically or manually on sites with long texts.

You can control the number of words that are displayed in Customizer: https://prnt.sc/1045myi the maximum number of words displayed is 300, however, I assume that should be enough to show all the needed information.
