I’ve used Smush for several years, but starting in Aug 2019 in my media dashboard all new image uploads now say “not processed”. I have Smush set to automatically compress on upload. How can I tell if the images are actually being Smushed?

    Thanks

    Hello @kmgreek ,

    I’m sorry about this issue.

Smushed images should show stats for processed images. Can you check if manual Smush directly from Media library works? Are images smushed then?
What happens when you try to do Bulk Smush those images?

If Bulk and single smush works (shows that images were processed) it means there is something that prevents Smush on upload.
This might be caused by a plugin conflict. You can follow the steps from the flowchart to perform a plugin conflict:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Support-Process-Support-Process.gif
(make sure that you have a backup before doing any changes).

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Kasia,
Thank you for your response. I checked for a plugin conflict and did not find one. But going through the process of disabling/reactivating plugins somehow cleared up the issue. Everything seems to be working correctly now. Thanks!
