Are links crashing my page?

I have been working on a page for some time now using a Divi theme. A while back it started crashing on me after I entered some text with links and then hit the update button. While trying to fix this issue I removed all the text that I had grabbed from an old site and removed it and begin reentering the text and manually re-linking all the text to the desired locations. This went well for a but then started crashing again.

I am wondering if having the amount of links that my page has causes it to crash? I have tried removing the theme and using a different Word Press theme and still have the issue.

I have lots of text that links to archive items on another website. Any help would be appreciative.
