Are Site Notes Stored In A Custom Post Type?

    The notes on the pages and posts are being stored as a post meta for that post or page which it has been added to.
    This is why the notes plugin does not work on archive and category pages.

    The dashboard notes are being saved in a custom table which I may use in the future to save page and post notes so that the notes plugin will be able to work on archive pages.
