Are the GUID concerns no longer relevant

    Hello Flack,

    Officially, it’s indeed no a problem anymore to update the plugin.

    The problem is that the other plugins out there might still use that GUID directly, they don’t always use the WordPress API to retrieve information. So unfortunately, you still need to be careful with this. Or if there is a problem, you need to tell the developer and pray so that they actually fix it :/

    Thanks Jordy for the follow-up. Exactly what I was hoping to hear. And, I appreciate the heads up for other plugins still using the GUID directly.
