Are there examples of how to use placeholders to sync w/Gcalender?

I would like to be able to sync Google calendar with Event manager if possible. This thread seems to imply it is possible to sync events from EM to Gcalendar https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-pull-events-from-google-calendar-into-event-manager/ is there an example of this?
