No, this plugin utilizes Google’s servers.

We have considered building an option to host fonts locally, but so far there hasn’t been any user requests for this feature.

But when you look at speed tests on say GTMetrix,, using google fonts, it’s another request (OK,, doesnt take long),, but surely better to host locally,,, better speed, less requests,, and higher scores on places like GTMetrix! ??
I think its a must have feature…
Why not do it,,, it would be awesome!!

Yes please, we need the local fonts feature as well not only for performance but also the problem using Google fonts in China.
