One client site whose Audit Log I just checked was upgraded from WP 5.2.4 to 5.3 — but I didn’t do it, and I don’t see any reference in the audit log to the event.

Are WP core updates logged? Is there some setting I need to check?

    Using FREE version currently.

I see that the 6004 code is for WordPress updates.

And it is checked in settings. But I see no event logged showing the update.

Thank you for using our plugin @jdcohan

Yes, the plugin should keep a log of WordPress core update. May I ask with whom is the website hosted?

If it is a managed WordPress hosting solution (such as Kinsta etc) it is not always possible to identify the upgrade since in many cases the web host simply copies the files and updates the database directly rather than using the WordPress update process.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Aha! The site is hosted with SiteGround, and the WordPress autoupdater was enabled by them. I see how I can disable.

    Thank you.

Glad we identified the source of the issue.

We are currently looking into how we can better monitor this. Thank you for reporting this and for using our plugin. Should you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.
