Hi I wonder if somebody can help me please.

I just changed my theme as something happened to the front page in my previous one. Being a child Photographer I do want it to be as crisp as possible.

I now have Argent, but I an not sure what to do about the colours. On my front page I have managed to put my logo in and after messing around with a few versions in editor I now have it in the correct place, however I want the hole front page to be white behind the logo it certainly is when looking at it in any other way, plus my logo rolls up and down the page, but I know I definitely did not tick the box for it to do that in appearance. I have tried to play with the theme colours, but still can’t get it to look how I want it.

There is a photographer who’s website I really like I want it to look professional and attractive.

Maybe it isn’t the right theme.

Any help or tips would be so gratefully received.

    Thank you
    Clair

  • Hi @dualfocus2015

When I look at the site in your profile, it looks like you’ve switched to a different theme (Button).

Did you still need help with Argent? If so can you explain what specific items are giving you trouble? I’m not sure what you needed changed specifically ??

If this question was for a different site, please include a link and some more detail on what you’re trying to do ??

If you’re making changes to the theme, it’s best not to use Appearance > Editor. Any changes you make in there will get wiped out the next time the theme gets updated.

Instead, if it’s CSS you’re changing, use the Additional CSS panel in your Customizer. If you’re doing more than just CSS, use a child theme to be safe!
