    Hi,

A year ago, I opened this support topic about changing the aria-label on the blocked content button so that screenreaders read the content of the button. Back then, I got the information the change would be in a future update, but as far as I see, it hasn’t happened yet.

Could you give an status update about that? We would highly appreciate if you could make this change, because of all content blocker plugins out there, we’ve found Complianz comes closest to WCAG requirements, however this is the only bigger issue that stands in the way.

    Thank you!

    Tina

    Hi @tinareisweb,

It would indeed seem that this change isn’t included in the current plugin version yet, we’ll look into it and provide you with further updates when available.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi @tinareisweb,

Thank you for your patience. You can use the below version of the plugin in which these ARIA labels have been adjusted for Consent per Service as well.

Curious to hear about your findings, let us know!

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi @tinareisweb,

The requested changes concerning ARIA labels on the blocked content notices (both for Consent per Category & Service) are currently being tested, and will be included in the plugin once confirmed.

I expect that these won’t make the upcoming update yet, but the update after this.

I’ll mark this thread as resolved for now, just let us know if you have any further questions about this though.

    Kind regards, Jarno
