    Hi everyone,

I need help with ARMember activation.
Activation fails and the plugin resources (css, js) are not loaded into the pages.
The activation error is: “The plugin generated X characters of unexpected output during activation” or something very similar.

I tried installing and activating the plugin on a clean wordpress installation. ARMember works beautifully.

So I think the problem is related to some conflict between plugin or theme.

    Is there any known case?

    thanks a lot

    Hi,

There is no any known case for this situation.

“The plugin generated X characters of unexpected output during activation” is very generic error in WordPress.

If any other plugin/theme has already some error in it, and than if you try to activate other plugins (e.g. ARMember), it will give you this type of error.

If you can share actual theme/plugin conflict with ARMember, please share with us so we can fix it and improve our plugin.

    Thanks,

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

I solved my issue yesterday. The problem was a “my” error, not a malfunction of the plugin because those who wrote the theme before my arrival did not include the calls to the wp_head() and wp_footer() functions :O.

Logically the assets were not loaded. Excuse me, it is really embarrassing for me but I had taken this thing for granted.

    Thanks again for your reply.
