The same happened to me. I updated to newest plugin and suddenly the free versiom was installed automatically.

I got this from support:

“Its happening as part of our future plans. We are trying to move all common code to lite version so in future lite version will be required to run premium version. So, i would suggest kindly keep lite version on your website.”
