array of the next 3 events

Hi, I would like to have some help about coding.
I have a theme and in the homepage I show the 3 next events.
I need to extract the following info about these events (through an array?) to be able to add them inside the html of the widget:
– Day
– Month
– Title
– Extract
– Link to the eventThank you for your help!

You could use a combination of shortcode and placeholders to show the next 3 events.
