  • The spinning arrow is a common symptom of a Javascript conflict with either your current WordPress theme or one of the other plugins you are using – see Contact Form 7 Email Issues – there is a link there that covers Javascript Conflicts.

I am using the Twenty Twelve theme which is updated. I also tried activating other themes like Twenty Eleven and it does not solve the issue. For this reason I don’t thing it is a theme conflict.

I also deactivated ALL plugins except the Contact 7 and the Simple Captcha and it still won’t work. UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore & WordPRess SEO are the only other plugins on this site. So I don’t think its a Plugin conflict either.

I installed another contact form plugin and just used that but just wanted to let you know.

Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all other plugins deactivated?

I have the same issue was using Contact Form 3.79 and could send form and receive a confirmation back. Decided because this form did not give me check boxes and dropdowns etc that would change to contact form 7 . Now cannot send and as above the arrow keeps spinning. Deactivated any add-ons not that i had many and still not working.

    Theme is Themia-lite

    Thanks

    Hi
After spending more than a day looking at different ways to try and rectify this i upgraded to WordPress 3.91 and it works!!!

Hope this will assist other users.

    Thanks

I am having this same issue. I am updated to WP 3.9.1
I disabled ALL plugins except CF7 and CF7 Newsletter by Katz.
Using twenty-twelve which is also updated. (all other themes are deleted)

Emails are going through (to me and to subscriber) and Constant Contact is correctly adding the contacts. This happens immediately which is pretty cool.

BUT…. the little arrow wheel keeps spinning (and John Lennon is singing “I’m just sittin’ here watching the wheel go ’round and ’round) ad infinitum.

Any help would be awesome… THANKS!

@dichotomy – As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic.

Posting in an existing topic prevents being able to track issues by topic. Added to which, your problem – despite any similarity in symptoms – is likely to be completely different.

I’m having the exact same issue after insetting the Google Analytics tracking code as suggested on the Contact Form 7 site: https://contactform7.com/tracking-form-submissions-with-google-analytics/. Any fix?

I have copied this from another thread, and it worked in my case…

WP Super Cache is a known issue reported several times in this forum – apparently the WP Super Cache plugin is not fully removed when deactivated and creates an ongoing error.
