    Hopefully someone can be of help. It’s either a Yoast SEO setting or somewhere else but after the last snafu with the Yoast SEO plugin update >> small arrows were added to before titles across my website.

    Any suggestions about how to remove them with minimal coding and hopefully just a settings issue?

    Yes sorry about that. Expert at Codeable reverted Yoast back to 3.5 and it resolved itself.
