ARRRGH! How do I recreate my custom User Profile fields in WP2?

  • With the much appreciated help of a few people on this forum and the Usermeta plugin (which doesn’t work with WP2 and there is no update yet)I finally managed to add (in WP 1.5) custom fields to the User Profile (such as City, State, etc.) and was able to require the user to supply all this information upon registration. But in 2.0, it apparently is not just a simple matter of copy and pasting what I had before into the new files. I’m not a programmer, I really don’t know PHP and I’m absolutely clueless about how to fix this. Any suggestions?
